Dear friends,
My name is Adele (Udi), and I am the mother of Yocheved, a five-year-old girl fighting for her life against leukemia.
Yocheved just wants to wake up in the morning without pain, go back to kindergarten, run on the grass, and play, like any regular child.
Now, we have another chance—a special treatment in Vienna that can save her. But the journey is very expensive, and can’t do it alone.
We need you. Every small donation, every bit of help, gives us hope to see her recover.
Please, help us save her. She needs us now more than ever.

Baltimore, MD - Dec. 30, 2024 - Average gas prices in Baltimore have risen 0.7 cents per gallon in the last week, averaging $2.82 per gallon, according to GasBuddy's survey of 663 stations in Baltimore.
GasBuddy says prices in Baltimore are 19.1 cents per gallon lower than a month ago and stand 32.8 cents per gallon lower than a year ago. The national average price of diesel has decreased 0.5 cents in the last week and stands at $3.473 per gallon.
"After a few weeks of rising gas prices, the national average has reversed course, declining as we close out 2024," said Patrick De Haan, head of petroleum analysis at GasBuddy. "2024 will mark the second consecutive year of a decline in the national average. Tomorrow, GasBuddy will release the 2025 Fuel Price Outlook, offering...
Jerusalem, Israel - Dec. 30, 2024 - Hamas was monitoring local Israeli leaders, security officers, and individual communities near the border with the Gaza Strip for at least seven years before carrying out its brutal October 7, 2023, massacre, a television news report revealed on Sunday evening, airing for the first time surveillance camera footage and sensitive documents seized from computers used by the terror group.
Among the material showcased in the Channel 12 news report, one document dated November, 2020, showed that Hamas had the IP addresses and serial numbers of all of the security cameras in the Sha’ar Hanegev Regional Council and the Ashkelon beach areas, including Kibbutz Kfar Aza, one of the worst-hit communities on October 7.

Israel conducted a commando raid on an underground Iranian missile production facility near the city of Maysaf in Syria in early September, the Jerusalem Post learned in later September, but was only allowed to confirm now after KAN News was permitted to publicize the IDF officially taking credit late Sunday.
That a raid took place, but without Israeli confirmation, was first reported by Axios on September 12, with the Post receiving secret confirmation shortly after, but not permission to publicize the information.
It appears that Israeli censor and secrecy rules regarding operations in Syria have become more flexible given the huge increase in IDF operations in Syria since the fall of the Assad regime.
With the fall of the regime, information security officials lik...

Former President Jimmy Carter, a man who redefined what a post-presidency could be, died Sunday. He was 100.
Carter, who lived longer than any other U.S. president, entered home hospice care in Plains, Georgia in February 2023 after a series of short hospital stays.
The only Georgian ever elected to the White House, Carter left office after a single term that was highlighted by forging peace between Israel and Egypt, but was overshadowed by the Iran hostage crisis. In the decades after, his reputation grew through his and wife Rosalynn Carter’s work at the Carter Center in Atlanta and his philanthropic causes such as Habitat for Humanity.
“People will be celebrating Jimmy Carter for hundreds of years. His reputation is only going to grow,” Rice University history profe...
A ceasefire and hostage deal had not been reached yet because Hamas “does not want there to be a deal,” Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu said in the weekly government meeting on Sunday.
During the meeting, the ministers attending were given a very limited briefing on the hostage deal talks.“The situation is less optimistic,” ministers told The Jerusalem Post.
The message conveyed to ministers was that “the negotiations for the hostage deal were stuck,” with Hamas “constantly trying to change direction in the talks.”
A meeting ahead of Netanyahu's surgery
The ministers were also told that Hamas returned to demanding an end to the war as conditional for any deal. The government meeting took place prior to ...
The IDF and Shin Bet (Israel Security Agency) killed 14 Hamas terrorists, including six who took part in the October 7 massacre over the course of extensive operations in Jabalya, Gaza, the military announced on Sunday.
In coordinated operations conducted by the IDF and ISA, several Hamas terrorists who participated in the October 7 massacre were neutralized in Jabalya and Beit Lahiya, Gaza. The 162nd Division, guided by intelligence from the Intelligence Directorate, Shin Bet, and the Southern Command, spearheaded the targeted actions.
On November 27, 2024, the Givati Brigade executed a precision raid in the Jabalya area. The operation eliminated Hamas terrorist Mohammed Abd al-Hamid Salah, who had infiltrated Israeli territory and actively participated in ...
IDF chief of staff Herzi Halevi says the war Israel has been waging for nearly 15 months is far from over, but both Hamas and Hezbollah are no longer militarily viable.
“This is a long war, and I cannot say we see it ending,” he says at a ceremony for wounded soldiers at Sheba Medical Center near Tel Aviv. “But after the heavy prices we have paid, we are also seeing results. The military arm of Hamas has been defeated. Hezbollah has been completely routed.”
Earlier, while visiting southern Lebanon, Halevi said that the defeat of Hezbollah was not yet truly a victory for Israel.
“The way to truly win over Hezbollah — because we won militarily, our victory is quite clear — but true victory, victory that is long-term, that means lots of civilians h...
Baltimore, MD - Dec. 29, 2024 - With just three days left in the year, Baltimore police are investigating three shootings from Friday, one of which was fatal. A 21-year-old man was killed in West Baltimore just after 2 p.m.
Despite the recent violence, Baltimore Mayor Brandon Scott highlighted a significant decrease in homicides and non-fatal shootings. "Homicides are down 23 percent from last year, and non-fatal shootings are down 34 percent," Scott said.
According to the latest data from the Baltimore Police Department, there have been 197 homicides, down from 256 at this time last year. Non-fatal shootings have also decreased, with 409 incidents reported, 212 fewer than last year.
Mayor Scott attributed the decline to his comprehensive violence reduction strategy and partnerships wit...
Israeli air defenses on Saturday intercepted two rockets fired from Gaza’s Beit Hanoun toward the Jerusalem area, an increasingly rare occurrence after nearly 15 months of war.
The Israel Defense Forces said both rockets were successfully intercepted, with no injuries or damage reported. Amid the attack, sirens sounded in Beit Shemesh and numerous surrounding towns, as well as in several communities near Gaza.
Long-range rocket fire from Gaza has become increasingly rare as the war has progressed, with Hamas’s launching capabilities severely hindered by the IDF’s ground offensive. Hamas last carried out a long-range rocket attack on Tel Aviv in August. The terror group has not fired at the Jerusalem area in over a year.
After the rockets were fired, the IDF issued evac...
A plane with 181 people aboard crashed at Muan International Airport in South Korea on Sunday (local time), South Korea's Yonhap news agency reported.
The Jeju Air flight, which was carrying 175 passengers and six flight attendants, had been returning from Thailand when the accident occurred during its landing, the report said.
The official death toll is currently at 85, but it is estimated that only two people survived the crash and the rest were killed.
The crash is believed to have been caused by "contact with birds, resulting in malfunctioning landing gear" as the plane attempted to land at the airport in the country's southwest, Yonhap reported.
Videos from the crash showed that after the plane landed on the runway, it was unable to slow down, hit the...
New details about the elimination of Hamas leader Ismail Haniyeh have come out just days after Israel officially took responsibility for the elimination in the heart of Tehran.
Institute for National Security Studies (INSS) Iran expert Beni Sabti told Channel 12 that Haniyeh's elimination was "on a higher level than even the pager operation (in Lebanon). We penetrated the depths and the belly of Iran's most secure facility."
When Israel wanted to take out Haniyeh, who served as the head of Hamas's diplomatic bureau, it decided to rule out the option of eliminating him on Qatari soil so as not to harm the efforts to reach a hostage deal.
In addition, the Israelis learned that Haniyeh would regularly stay in a specific room in the Neshat compound in Tehran.
