Baltimore, MD – September 16, 2026 - As the Baltimore community prepares for the Yamim Noraim, the United Orthodox Jewish Congregations of Baltimore will present its annual Tishrei & Aseres Y’mai Teshuva in Baltimore program, featuring the annual Teshuva Drasha by Rabbi Yissocher Frand, shlita.
The drasha will take place Thursday, September 17, at 8:00 p.m. at Congregation Shomrei Emunah, 6221 Greenspring Avenue.
Each year, the annual Teshuva Drasha provides an opportunity for members of the Baltimore community to come together for an evening of Torah and inspiration during the Aseres Y’mai Teshuva.

Baltimore, MD – September 16, 2026 – The Central District Court in Lod sentenced Alexander Granovsky of Petah Tikva to 13.5 years in prison after he was convicted of security offenses stemming from ongoing contact with an Iranian agent and carrying out missions on the agent’s behalf.
