Baltimore, MD - July 7, 2025 - A man was robbed and assaulted by a group of juveniles and one adult in a stolen car, with the youngest person being a 10-year-old male, Baltimore police announced on Sunday.
Officials reported that on July 5 at around 8:24 p.m., police responded to an armed robbery at 1100 East Northern Parkway.
Once there, officials say they spoke with the victim, who stated that he was waiting at a bus stop when a maroon vehicle passed by. Their goal was to brighten the day of the seniors while on their Year 9 America Trip. They spent time getting to know the residents, and entertained with lively singing and dancing.
Although from very different cultures and age brackets, there was an instant connection that was felt in the room. There was laughing. hugging, and even an occasional tear of joy. A 34-year-old man was arrested and charged after setting fire to a centuries-old historic synagogue in East Melbourne, Australia’s Counter Terrorism Security Investigation Unit announced Saturday.
The man was allegedly seen entering the grounds of the synagogue, pouring a flammable liquid on the front door of the building and setting it on fire before fleeing.
The man was charged with reckless conduct, endangering life, criminal damage by fire, and possession of a controlled weapon. He is expected to appear before the Bail and Remand Court.
