I am begging you, please help save my daughter My name is Yitzchak, and I am writing to you as a broken and worried father. Our dear Avigayil, less than a year old now, was born with a small, heartwarming smile, but now she’s fighting a severe illness—cutaneous lymphoma. The word “cancer” is still too heavy for us to assimilate, and the fear is unrelenting. A few years ago, my wife Tehillah and I went through a terrible time when our eldest daughter was fighting for her life after a severe accident. Somehow, we managed to get through it, but now we’re facing another painful battle, and we lose entire nights to worry. For our baby Avigayil to overcome this illness, she urgently needs costly biological treatment. We need your help. I am reaching out from the ...
The Israeli Cabinet this evening (Tuesday) approved the ceasefire deal brokered by the US in Lebanon. The ceasefire agreement will go into effect at 10:00 a.m. tomorrow morning (Wednesday). This evening, Netanyahu addressed the nation about the ceasefire. "I promised victory and we will achieve victory. We will complete the elimination of Hamas, the return of all our hostages and the return of the residents of the north," he said. "We have destroyed significant parts of Iran's air defense and a significant component of its nuclear program," he added. Netanyahu stated, "This evening, I will bring before the Cabinet a ceasefire plan. How long it will be depends on what will happen in Lebanon." "If Hezbollah doesn't follow the agreement, we'll attack," he said. "If it'...
Legal expert Professor Alan Dershowitz announced that he is putting together a "Legal Dream Team" to defend Israel at the International Court after the ICC announced the issuing of arrest warrants against Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu and former Defense Minister Yoav Gallant. Dershowitz made the announcement in an Op Ed he published in the Wall Street Journal this week. "This case will be tried in a courtroom in The Hague. It will also be tried in the court of public opinion, both in the U.S. and throughout the world. For that reason, I am assembling a team of world class lawyers from around the globe to help defend Israeli leaders against the false charges," he explained. He revealed that former US attorneys general Michael Mukasey and William Barr, former Solicit...
A ceasefire in Lebanon will be announced at 10 p.m. by the United States and France, according to Lebanese channel Al Jadeed. Presidents Biden and Macron will announce the deal during the night, with the alleged agreement set to take effect at 10 a.m. tomorrow. This comes after several days of strained last-minute negotiation, in which Israel pushed for the removal of France as guarantor of the security situation in Lebanon, citing current diplomatic tensions between France and Israel. The deal must still pass through the war cabinet, which is expected to meet at 6 p.m. to approve the agreement in Lebanon. Netanyahu is also expected to run the ceasefire passed by the heads of the local authorities in the North. If the cabinet approves the ceasefire agreement, i...
The Medrash Tanchuma in Toldos 8 says that when Eisav came home from the fields he would ask questions of his father to make him seem steeped in learning. An example of the type of questions he asked is the following: what is the halacha regarding taking maaser from salt? Yitzchok would wonder at the baal medakdek his son had become. When Yitzchok would ask him, “Where were you today?” Eisav would respond, “In Bais Hatalmud.” He would start talking in halacha and thereby fool his father. Everyone was aware that when Eisav and Yaakov became adults Eisav went to the house of Avoda Zora and Yaakov went to the Bais Medrash. The question is why didn’t Yaakov tell his father th...
The Council on American-Islamic Relations (CAIR) will be forced to open its books and reveal its sources of funding after a defamation suit it filed against a former employee completely backfired.  US Magistrate Judge David Schultz ruled Monday that CAIR’s donors, funding sources — potentially including foreign ones — and any assets owned by the group are all within the “scope of permissible discovery” as part of former chapter leader Lori Saroya’s lawsuit against the controversial Muslim rights group.  Saroya filed a federal defamation complaint against CAIR in January after the group dropped its own lawsuit against the former employee, which accused her of embarking on a “defamation campaign” against the orga...

The police commissioner admitted that it continues to be a problem. “These young people out there continue to wreak havoc on our city,” Worley said. “We just announced two arrests of two juveniles, a 12-year-old and a 15-year-old, for carjacking” That 15-year-old had six prior arrests. “With our young people, when we make the arrest, we take it to the department of juvenile services, juvenile booking, and usually the next morning there, the case is heard, and then they make a decision whether ...
State Department spokesperson Matthew Miller said on Monday that a ceasefire agreement between Israel and Lebanon is close but not yet finalized. His comments came amid reports that US President Joe Biden and French President Emmanuel Macron will declare a 60-day ceasefire on the northern border on Tuesday. “What I’d say is we have made significant progress with getting towards a resolution. That includes progress from where we were when I spoke to this last week, but we’re not done yet. Nothing is final until everything is final. We continue to work to try and get an agreement over the line. And we’re hopeful we can get one, but we need both of the parties to get to yes,” Miller said during a press briefing. Asked by a reporter about the number o...
Jared Kushner, US President-elect Donald Trump’s son-in-law and one of the architects of the 2020 normalization agreement between Israel and the United Arab Emirates, reacted on Monday to the kidnapping and murder of Chabad-Lubavitch emissary Rabbi Zvi Kogan, whose funeral is being held in Israel, and announced that he is donating $1 million to the Chabad in the UAE. "Ivanka and I are saddened by the loss of Rabbi Kogan, who was senselessly murdered to stop the historic bridges he was building between Jews and Muslims in the UAE. The success of his work, in partnership with the bold and positive vision of the Emirati government, has been a shining light in the world and a strong counter to the history of division," Kushner wrote on X. "Before World War 2, Jews and Muslims lived tog...

Special counsel Jack Smith moved to abandon two criminal cases against Donald Trump on Monday, acknowledging that Trump’s return to the White House will preclude attempts to federally prosecute him for retaining classified documents or trying to overturn his 2020 election defeat. The decision was inevitable, since longstanding Justice Department policy says sitting presidents cannot face criminal prosecution. Yet it was still a momentous finale to an unprecedented chapter in political and law enforcement history, as federal officials attempted to hold accountable a former president while he was simultaneously running for another term. Trump emerges indisputably victorious, having successfully delayed the investigations through legal maneuvers and then ...
Dear friends,With our continued focus on addressing and countering the anti-Israel voices that exist within the local and national political discourse, we ask you to please join us in conveying our deep dismay and disappointment with Maryland’s U.S. Senator Chris Van Hollen on his recent public stances, statements,  and votes as they relate to Israel. This past Wednesday, Senator Van Hollen joined in support of several alarming Senate resolutions that seek to block the sale of critical U.S. weapons to Israel. Thankfully, those resolutions were soundly defeated by a 76-19 margin. Additionally, the Senator appeared on several networks and news shows (including ones that are notoriously anti-Israel) accusing Israel of engaging in “ethnic cleansing” in Gaza, an extremely ...
