Sirens sounded Monday morning in central Israel after a barrage of missiles was launched from Gaza.
Among the cities where sirens sounded were Holon, Rishon Lezion, Gedera's industrial zone, Kfar Chabad, Tel Aviv, and Bat Yam.
According to reports, five launches were identified crossing from Gaza into central Israel.
Magen David Adom (MDA) teams are searching the areas where missile strikes were reported. Two people were lightly injured by shrapnel in Kfar Chabad.
A rocket strike was also reported in Holon. Police sappers are at the scene, searching the area to remove danger to the public.

Questions are being raised in Iran regarding the whereabouts of Islamic Revolutionary Guard Corps Quds Force commander Esmail Ghaani, who according to The New York Times traveled to Beirut last week to meet with Hezbollah officials. Ghaani was last seen in public visiting Hezbollah’s offices in Tehran last week.
The concerns in Tehran come amid reports in Israeli and Arab media on Saturday that Ghaani may have been wounded or killed in an Israeli airstrike in Beirut.

Flights from all Iran’s airports have been canceled from 9 p.m. today until 6 a.m. tomorrow local time, Iran’s Mehr news agency says, citing a spokesperson for Iran’s Civil Aviation Organization.
A notice to pilots, or NOTAM, sent out by Iranian authorities confirms the closure, while carving out exceptions for “emergency flight, ferry flights and state aircraft.”
Another state-run outlet, IRNA, cites “operational restrictions” for the closure, which may relate to an expected Israeli counterattack following an Iranian missile assault last week.

Baltimore, MD - Oct. 6, 2024 - Baltimore voters in November will get to decide whether city council districts should be reduced from 14 to 8, otherwise known as Question H.
The group, PEACE Baltimore, who received enough signatures to get Question H added to the ballot, said on its website that the reduction of the districts would save “significant taxpayers dollars and resources for Baltimore City.”
However, some are not for the reduction of districts. One of those opposed is Baltimore City Councilman Zeke Cohen.

It starts slowly at the beginning of the school year, with one or two boys sharing their weekly stories. However, as the year goes on, the boys look forward to their opportunity to shine in front of the room and share their stories with the class. Besides training the boys to see Hashgacha Pratis in their lives, this gives them an opportunity to feel comfortable addressing a crowd, a skill they will hopefully use in the future.

Shots were fired at the Be'er Sheva Central Bus Station Sunday afternoon.
Magen David Adom reported that a woman was murdered and seven people were wounded in the shooting. Four victims are in moderate condition, and three are in light condition.
The shooter was neutralized. Eyewitnesses stated that the shooter wore a bulletproof vest. According to reports from the scene, the shooting took place in two locations, including the local McDonalds and a nearby street.

French President Emmanuel Macron on Saturday urged a halt to deliveries of arms to Israel that can be used in its war against Hamas in Gaza, drawing a furious reaction from Jerusalem.
“I think that today, the priority is that we return to a political solution, that we stop delivering weapons to fight in Gaza,” Macron told broadcaster France Inter.
“France is not delivering any,” he added during the interview recorded early this week.
