Brother-In-Law Saves Brother-In-Law’s Life After Suffering Heart Attack On The Way To Shul on Friday Night

One Brother-in-law saved another his on the way to shul on Friday night. Both brothers are EMS volunteers. The brother-in-law who is an ambulance driver, collapsed on the way the way to shul on Friday night. His brother-in-law began performing CPR on him and called for help from United Hatzalah and Magen David Adom. The CPR was successful and the ill brother-in-law regained full consciousness at the hospital later on in the evening.

The ill man a Sanzer Chassid, aged 35, was walking to shul with his brother-in-law in Gush 80 in Jerusalem when he collapsed. Magen David Adom volunteer Nachman Rabibo responded to the call in an MDA ambulance at the same time as volunteers from United Hatzalah arrived at the scene. The Sanzer chassid and ambulance driver received numerous shocks from a defibrillator and received continuous CPR treatment until he was at the hospital where he began to revive.


According to reports by Hadassah Ein Kerem medical staff, he had suffered a myocardial infarction and thus had collapsed on the street. Doctors at the hospital said that: “Without the quick intervention by his brother-in-law and fellow first responders, he would not have survived.”
