Baltimore City Firefighters are on the scene of a huge, three-alarm fire at a vacant warehouse in South Baltimore.

The fire broke out around 7 a.m. at 1028 East Patapsco Avenue, just a few blocks west of Pennington Ave in Baltimore City.

A second alarm was struck moments after fire crews arrived on the scene.

The third alarm was sounded just after 8:30 a.m.

While the building is unoccupied, it is loaded with clothes and toys and packing materials.

Firefighters on the scene report there are water supply issues, causing big difficulties in battling the blaze.

No injuries have been reported.

The fire has forced the closure of Patapsco Avenue between 9th Street and Pennington Avenue and 9th Street north of Patapsco Avenue.
