We all can be proud of being members of this incredible most charitable community. The town was electrified by a well organized and well run fundraising project. If you participated, Thank You! If you missed giving it’s never too late so go on-line to Ahavas Yisrael and make a contribution now.
Boruch Hashem we did it.
Almost $1.3 million in just 24 hours.
On behalf of Rabbi Boruch Brull, Mrs. Aviva Isbee, and myself, all the Baltimore Rabbonim and the Board of Ahavas Yisrael, we thank the entire team of our dynamic young leadership who successfully orchestrated this entire campaign. They did a spectacular job!
Walking into the call center at Suburban Orthodox Congregation one sensed the excitement. There was a passion to help those in need. At peak times there were 40 people making calls with hundreds of volunteers participating in the 24-hour campaign. While the Charidy.com web site showed 2000 donors and $1.267 million there were many donations given on Ahavas Yisrael’s web site and many checks handed in. Kol Hakavod to our wonderful community.
Baltimore is truly a town of Chesed.
