Police Feared A Vehicular Attack At French Hill In Yerushalayim

Police on Tuesday morning 16 Adar felt a speeding vehicle in the French Hill area of the capital. They initiated the appropriate protocol as they feared it was involved in an attempted vehicular terror attack.

When soldiers at the French Hill hitchhiking post ordered the driver to halt, he instead sped up towards nearby Issawiya. He struck one of the police vehicles, injuring an officer very lightly. The driver is a 43-year-old Issawiya resident who was driving without a license. Police also learned an order banning the use of the vehicle he was driving. The man was taken into custody.
