Baltimore, MD - Mar. 10, 2017 -  Significant to high impact winter storm probable to affect the Mid-Atlantic & Northeast
Monday night into Wednesday

SITUATION SUMMARY:

* Heavy wet snow of 12-20" is possible for areas west of Interstate 95 to southern & eastern PA. Amounts up to 8" likely for all locations east of I-81 by daybreak Tuesday.
* Snow onset expected by 6 PM Mon in southern Virginia, 9 PM Mon in DC metro, 12 AM in southern PA, Eastern shore.
* Near-blizzard conditions may occur at times with strong gusty winds along the coast.
* Areas along 95 and the Eastern shore may see both heavy snow overnight Monday up to 6-10" before changing to heavy rain by daybreak Tuesday.
* AM Temperatures of 15-20 F from Wed to Fri will create on-going refreezing of road ice hazards.
