Jerusalem, Israel - May 22, 2017 - Streets were closed and blocked by large buses for the motorcade of US President Donald Trump's arrival by helicopter in Jerusalem, Israel, on Monday. The US Presidential entourage's first stop was an official red carpet welcome at Beit Hanasi. Israeli President Reuven and First Lady Nechama Rivlin greeted President Trump and his wife Melania, Jared and Ivanka Kusher, US Ambassador David Friedman, and the US delegation. 

After signing the official state guest book, the Presidents met in private greeting room. In his brief and warm remarks,Trump spoke about US and Israeli trade and economy.  Israeli and US flags, lined the street, and could by found on pins and hats and more.

From the President's residence the Trump entourage proceeded to the Kossel. Tuesday, Trump will deliver his major address at the Israel Museum and place a wreath at Yad Vashem. This first trip of the US President is being live streamed and viewed around the world.
