While the right-wing parliamentarians are calling on the United States of move its embassy from Tel Aviv to Jerusalem, Coalition Chairman (Likud) David Bitan asks to evaluate if the move is worth the price, which he feels will be concessions by Israel, concessions that Prime Minister Binyamin Netanyahu has been unwilling to make to date. He told Israel Radio on Monday morning 19 Iyar that while he is counted among those who want to see the embassy relocated, we must weigh what price this move would carry for Israel and if the move is in Israel’s interest. Bitan explains nothing is given without a price and in this case, the price that will be extracted is far too high.

Bitan explains “The American are delaying and the prime minister does not willing to commit [political] suicide at present”.
