The PA (Palestinian Authority) Committee for Support of the Palestinian Prisoners’ Hunger Strike on Tuesday, 29 Nissan, announced a general strike, a showing of solidarity with terrorists imprisoned in Israeli prisons.

The strike impacts all PA autonomous areas, businesses and schools and the day’s events included a rally in support of the terrorists.

While the PA is working to encourage hunger-strikers to continue, only about 1,100 of the 6,000 imprisoned terrorists undertook to hunger strike and hundreds have dropped out in the first week. Hunger strike organizers worked hard, albeit with minimal success, to enlist the support of the international community for the strikers and against Israel.
