Ichud Leumi party spokesman Harel Dudovitz on Tuesday, 2 Adar released the following statement to the media as the eviction from nine homes in Ofra begins, ahead of the destruction of the homes.

“After the uprooting of Yishuv Amona and the destruction of the homes in Yishuv Ofra, the time has arrived for renewed construction for residents of Amona, Ofra, and other yishuvim in Yehuda and Shomron.

“It is inconceivable that homes are destroyed in the community that was established by the State of Israel while there is not a single person claiming the land belongs to him. The High Court of Justice should be protecting residents to destroy the ‘lie of the [so-called] private lands’. The government can reverse the momentum and begin a momentum of construction throughout Yehuda and Shomron”.

Members of the Ichud Leumi party are a part of Bayit Yehudi today, including Agriculture Minister Uri Ariel and MK Moti Yogev.
