Israel can keep the Western Wall but practically nothing else under a plan worked out in secret between Isaac Herzog and Mahmoud Abbas.

Who is Herzog? For Americans unfamiliar with Israeli politics – think Bernie. Or Hillary. Herzog heads Israel’s leftwing Zionist Union and, like Bernie, he’s prepared to replace Israel with a peace-loving Muslim state -- so forget the next gay pride parade if that were to happen.

It didn’t happen because, a couple of years ago, Herzog ran as the leading candidate to unseat Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu.

He lost.

But while it seemed he still had a shot, according to what’s recently been revealed, Herzog met with Abbas and made him an offer he couldn’t refuse.

Who is Abbas? Abbas is the illegitimate leader of the illegitimate Palestinian Authority.

Abbas’ term as president of the terrorist PA expired more than a decade ago. The “Authority” itself defaulted on every promise it ever made.

But Israel’s leftists are always ready to deal. They will offer anything to make a sale, from watches on the corner to the kitchen sink.

A con artist named George C. Parker (1870-1936) already “sold” the Brooklyn Bridge.

So Herzog sprang a different property he didn’t own. He offered up the entire 'West Bank' (Biblical Judea and Samaria). Then, for the sake of “peace,” he offered to swamp Jews out of existence within the Holy Land by granting 500 million Palestinian Arab refugees (or so it seems) “the right of return.”

If that wasn’t enough (and it never is), he offered to divide Jerusalem. So during this everything-must-go Clearance Sale, the Jews can keep the Western Wall.

But not much else.

For the Palestinian Arabs, Jerusalem suddenly became holy in 1964, when they became a “nation.”

For the Jews, Jerusalem has been sacred for more than 3,000 years. (Read your Bible.) But who’s counting?

Anything for a “Palestinian State” within the confines of the Jewish State -- but this quick question.

What would this “Palestinian State” look like? Vermont or Syria? Hawaii or Iraq? I know where my bet would go.

If you are leftist and you think Herzog’s secret plan is so terrific, you must be wondering why Bernie Sanders didn’t think of that – but he did!

Bernie wants a big seat at the table when Democrats meet at their Convention next month.

There, in Philadelphia, he wants it written that Israel must make further concessions and surrender itself to oblivion for “Palestinian rights.” Another great mind that thinks alike, Hillary Clinton, agrees. She has not been as noisy about it because she has not yet run it through the polls.

Hillary has no convictions until her focus groups tell her what to think.

Now here comes the EU, which joins France in another “last chance at peace” that sounds awfully similar to Herzog’s plan…and Bernie’s…and Hillary’s.

Yes, Israel flourishes, but no thanks to Liberals here and there who keep trying new tricks to destroy her.

The Israelis have heard all that before.

But once was enough when, through claps of thunder, they heard the real plan loud and clear and true on Mount Sinai.
