Israeli architect Haim Dotan designed what is believed to be the world’s highest and longest glass bridge and it is opening this weekend in China.

The construction of the footbridge that connects between two cliffs in Zhangjiajie in the Hunan Province was finished in December, though it is only now being opened to people wanting to cross. The 430 meter long bridge is six meters wide and it is 300 meters high. According to Chinese news agency Xinhua, it cost was $3.4 million.

There are ninety-nine triple-level clear glass panels installed along the length of the bridge, continuing the trend of glass bridges in China. Yoga conferences and even weddings have been held on similar structures in the country.

The Chinese have made of point of showcasing the bridges’ safety, in one instance, by driving a passenger car along one.
