The NYPD Hate Crimes Division is in Williamsburg Friday morning, and are investigating a possible hate crime.

Sources tell us that sometime during the night (Thursday night – Friday morning), someone vandalized two Yeshiva buses. One bus belongs to the Pupa Yeshiva, and the other belongs to the Satmar Queens Yeshiva.

The bus-drivers arrived at their buses – which were parked at Bedford Avenue and Division Avenue – on Friday morning, and contacted Williamsburg Shomrim (WSPU) and the NYPD after seeing the vandalism.

One bus was actually stolen and found parked two blocks away at Lee Avenue and Division Avenue.

The second bus had a fire set inside, and then a fire extinguisher was emptied inside the bus.
