Several juveniles assaulted a Metrobus driver and hijacked the bus Tuesday morning, D.C. police said.

It's not clear where the bus was taken from, but police say the bus in now stopped along Nannie Helen Burroughs Avenues in Northeast Washington.

Police say the suspects were armed, possibly with a knife.

It's not clear whether any passengers were on the bus at the time.
