Baltimore County Police say two people died, a third critically injured in two separate crashes along Liberty Road in Randallstown.

The crashes occurred within a three hour period on Friday night.

The first crash occurred at around 9 p.m. on Liberty Road near Marriottsville.

Police say a 19-year-old woman and a 14-year-old boy were riding a bicycle along Liberty Road when they were struck by a car.

The boy, 14-year-old Jamal Quentin Anderson of Randallstown was pronounced dead at the scene, and the woman, whose name was not released, was taken to an area hospital and remains in critical condition.

Police say the driver of the car, 23-year-old Conrad Oliver Antonio Thorpe of Randallstown remained at the scene, and was later arrested and charged with driving under the influence.

That driver remains held in the Baltimroe County Detention Center where he is held without bail.

The accident remains under investigation.  The state's attorney will decide if additional charges will be filed.

About three hours later, just before midnight a car and a MTA transport van collided head on.

Police alter determined the driver of the car heading eastbound crossed the center line and struck the van.

Police say the driver of the car, 44-year-old William Thomas Rideout of Randallstown, was taken to Northwest Hospital, where he was pronounced dead on arrival.

The driver and sole passenger of the van were taken to the hospital for treatment of minor injuries.

That crash also remains under investigation.
