Officials said the stabbing at the Baltimore County high school was reported at 11:15 a.m.

WOODLAWN, MD — Authorities said one person was hospitalized after a stabbing at Woodlawn High School Thursday morning. The incident was reported at 11:15 a.m., according to the Baltimore County Police Department.

The victim was taken in stable condition to the University of Maryland Shock Trauma Center for treatment, police said.

One person was in custody, according to officials, who said they were investigating whether additional suspects were involved.

Woodlawn High School, located in the 1800 block of Woodlawn Drive, was temporarily placed on lockdown as a precaution. By 11:55 a.m., officials said the lockdown had been lifted.

Police said the investigation was ongoing.
