Baltimore, MD – Dec. 28, 2016 - Since its opening this past June, the Moshe Kuhnreich Jewish Children’s Library has become one of Baltimore’s most exciting new resources for families.

The library, designed with state-of-the-art operating systems, fast check-out, friendly volunteers and an online database, has filled a void in the community.

“People come over to me all the time and tell me how the library has positively impacted their families in so many ways,” says director, Faige Katz. “Children who did not enjoy reading are now hooked on reading.”

Currently, the collection boasts 1,300+ books catering to small children all the way through high school level. It stocks all the popular titles including graphic novels, beginning readers, fiction, republished classics, out-of-print items, biographies and inspirational stories.

Plans are in place for a Magical Family Chanukah Event on Sunday, January 1 (last day of Chanukah) in the Shomrei Emunah Social Hall which includes an Amazing Juggling and Magic Show by Sam Jacobs. Prior to the show, there will be Library Tours and Interactive Exhibits for Kids of All Ages including bookbinding demonstrations, crafts, raffles, story time and more starting at 1:00 P.M.

Discounted admission rate will be available until Thursday, December 29 at https://jclbaltimore.org/chanukah-event-2016-checkout/
