Baltimore, MD – Oct. 4, 2016:

On 10/01/16 between 3:50 am and 4:17 am the Pikesville Precinct experienced four attempts to gain entry into vehicles in The Parke at Mount Washington community. An unknown black male described as 20 to 29 years old approximately 5’09” 170 lbs. wearing a black jacket, jeans, flat brim hat, tennis shoes and a back pack was caught on video surveillance attempting to gain entry into several cars by pulling on door handles. Two of the attempts to gain entry into vehicles occurred in the 2300 block of Blackberry Road. The third attempt to gain entry into a vehicle occurred in the 2300 block of Sweet Meadow Road. The fourth attempt to gain entry into a vehicle occurred in the 6700 block of Evanston Road. Entry was not gained in any these cases due to the vehicle being locked. Please remember to lock your vehicles and residences at all times.

Please be vigilant of suspicious subjects or vehicles roaming through the neighborhood.   If you notice any suspicious activity, safely get a good description of the subjects or vehicles (including license plates) and immediately contact 911.  We offer Free Home Security Surveys, where a uniformed officer will respond to your home and give you suggestions on ways to make your home more secure.
