Baltimore, MD - Sept. 5, 2016 - Yesterday, The Chesed Fund & Project Ezra, and Lauren and Isaac “Yitzy” Schleifer invited Emergency Responders, the Police Department, the Fire Department, and Hatzalah, Shomrim, Chaverim, and their families to an Emergency Responders Appreciation Day. The event took place at Amped Up in Middle River, MD, and featured outdoor water slides, rope climbing, basketball, moon bounces, an indoor adventure area and a game lounge.  Food and paper goods were generously donated by community businesses.  Participants were greeted by a large Thank You sign.

“Emergency Responders Appreciation Day was a great way to say thank you to our hard-working police officers, fire department, and of course, Hatzalah, Shomrim, and Chaverim,” said Yitzy Schleifer. Frank Storch, who coordinated the event with Yitzy, said, “we were thrilled to create this opportunity to put such dedicated people in a room together to say thank you.”
