BALTIMORE (AP) -- The Baltimore Board of Elections has completed its final vote count in last week's Democratic primary.

Catherine Pugh, state senator and owner of a public relations firm, maintained her victory as the city's democratic nominee for mayor with a total of 48,665 votes, while her closest opponent, former mayor Sheila Dixon, received 46,219 votes in total.

Dixon said earlier this week that she did not concede the election.
