A clipper storm riding a cold front will arrive in Maryland by Monday evening. It will bring a mix of rain and snow Monday night into Tuesday. Temperatures will determine how much rain will mix with snow, which will impact accumulation amounts. The National Weather Service calls for 4 to 8 inches, with locally higher amounts possible. Temperatures will stick in the low 30s, with north winds of 5 to 10 mph.
