About the Position

Are you energetic, creative and, strategic? Do you have excellent relationships skills and enjoy event planning? Are you ready to make a difference? The Associated: Jewish Community of Federation is seeking an individual to join the Development Team and engage and steward young adults through the young adult division, IMPACT. This opportunity is commensurate on experience and will be offered at either a Manager or Director level. The ideal candidate will be enthusiastic, familiar with organized Jewish community and an advocate for engagement throughout Baltimore.

This individual will be responsible for cultivating new donors, engaging volunteers, and increasing campaign dollars through a variety of fundraising initiatives, programs and events. Incumbent will serve a key role in monitoring and evaluating campaign activity to determine strengths, weakness and opportunities for enhancement. Other responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

•Supporting IMPACT Board, as well as, lay leaders by developing strategies for meetings and events
•Empowering and providing direction to current and future lay leaders so that they feel a high degree of ownership, involvement and responsibility toward fulfillment of The Associated’s mission
•Collaborate and strategize with The Associated’s Marketing Department to implement strategies
•Participate in all campaign events, phonings, and organizational events, as needed

REQUIREMENTS:
This job requires high energy and a willingness to be flexible, creative and collaborative.

•Excellent project management and organizational skills with attention to detail and commitment to follow-through
•Strong collaborative and networking skills within a diverse community; an ability to forge partnerships

Qualifications:
•Bachelor’s degree required
•Minimum of four years’ experience working in a non-profit organization specifically in a fundraising capacity, preferably in Jewish Communal work Supervisory experience
•Successful track record in fundraising; demonstrated evaluation of strategies is a plus
•Supervisory experience a plus
•Strong knowledge of and commitment to the mission of The Associated, its’ programs and agencies
