Atlantic Biofuel's is an alternative fuel company that is based in Baltimore. We collect waste fryer oil from restaurants, hospitals, colleges, sports arenas, and government institutions in the Baltimore/DC Metro areas . The waste fryer oil we collect is recycled and used for making biodiesel, a cleaner burning renewable fuel. We also pump grease traps. As a small company that continues to grow, we're looking to add experienced salespeople to our team to help us accelerate that growth.

About the Position

The sales position involves getting signed contracts from new and existing businesses that dispose of waste fryer oil. As part of this position, responsibilities include walk-in sales, independently identifying potential customers, establishing leads and tracking progress, providing initial customer support to clients, and occassional cold calling. The performance of the position will be evaluated based on new contracts signed, volume of oil and/or trap pumpout accounts acquired as a result of sales efforts, leads generated, and customer retention among other skills. This position is competitive, so the ideal candidate must be highly motivated, driven for success, and likable. The position requires daily traveling within the local area. You must have reliable transportation for this position. Reimbursement of travel expenses includes fuel, parking and tolls. This is base and commission based position with earnings potential from 30-60K annually depending on performance. Base is from 30-40K based on experience with commission earnings for above quota performance.

Candidates applying for this position must have a history of proven success in sales. The candidate will be working locally in the Baltimore metro area. Restaurant industry knowledge preferred but not necessary. Language diversity is also preferred. Attention to detail is a must.
